Behind the Name

You've probably heard the sayings, "Train like a beast." "Train like a beast to look like a beauty." "Train like an angel." and so on and so forth.

I want to adopt the saying, "Train like an animal, to look like a Fox."

I've always had a passion for animals.

The very first job I can remember wanting to be was a Veterinarian. It has stayed with me and maybe one day I'll return to school to fulfill the dream of being an Equestrian Veterinarian.

My favorite animals are horses, dogs, wolves, and foxes. Red and Arctic foxes in particular.

Foxes are depicted as clever, mischievous creatures, but they've also been shown as beautiful, alluring beings. Think of the terms: "Foxy lady." "He's a fox." "She's a vixen."

When I earned my beautician license in 2010, I wanted to have my own salon and the plan was to name it The Frosted Fox. The "Frost" part came from two places. One was my last name. The other was from the slang term of calling jewelry(particularly diamonds) "frosting". I wanted to twist that into being drop dead gorgeous!

When it became clear that was not the path I would be following, I still wanted to keep the name.

I am thrilled to be able to use this name for my team.
